4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall the school strives to provide the best for their students. Though I have found several teachers who lacked the drive to motivate students appropriately and were even biased towards some of the kids and this was for 2nd grade. Hoping as we go up the chain all gets better.Parent Review2y ago57 Reviews - Burlington Twp High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has a culture of harassment by students and blind eye syndrome by staff. Many students experience racial microaggressions and social exclusion that has become embedded in middle school environments, and there is no exception here. The lower and upper middle schools are structured, responsive, and supportive— yet something changes the moment the transition here occurs. Staff are not responsive until you establish a strong response to oversight, or lack thereof. Building rapport as a parent is difficult. However, as a parent, be present, active, and communicative or your child will fall to the wayside. Disappointing for the ratio of tax dollars from my property tax that funds such a disparity in my children’s education experience.Parent Review8mo ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 17th St.

"Mostly row houses or duplexes plus apartments. Lots of 62+ apartments. Not enough free space for dogs & neighborhoods too small"

"I love living here. The schools, convenience to things, nice people. It’s expensive to live here tho and it’s almost impossible to afford a mortgage and taxes"

"The parks are dirty. The school teachers and staff are great but the parents and the way the are raising their children is ruining it. Kids smoking, cursing, bullying, and people drinking and doing drugs in the parks selling drugs on the corners. Im working on getting my children and myself out of here! "

"I have 2 Riverline stations within a quarter mile. if it wasn't for the fact that I'd have to wait at a station in Camden, I'd probably take it. I drive 17 miles to Westmont PATCO station. There are plenty of NJT buses, but who wants to pay $6.30 each way."

"I’ve lived here for two years, moved from North Jersey to have a better area to raise my children. It was ok at first, now it’s just mediocre but it’s not where I came from which is a plus. You need a car to get around definitely but there’s plenty of places to go and a lot of walking areas. The rent is so high around here if you were a renter tho. And there’s a lot of foreclosures happening."
