If you have a problem with a teacher, the principal Ms.KAREN will just sweep it under the rug and make it out like your child is the one with issues. My child has always loved going to school until this year. Just like every other school, you will have the children that are bullies, or the children that go to school and never participate, they are just there because they have to. My son did well with his grades also had an award in math along with many other children. I feel safety is #1 at DMS. The sheriff's are on site everyday for protection. "The rainbow river is magical. Worth living near. I would recommend that anyone who is planning to move here have a job lined up as there are not many full time employment opportunities. When looking at the surrounding area, there is crystal river and hommassa springs and rainbow springs. They are great places to visit daily or weekly. The school system here is good because it’s a small town and everyone knows each other. There is opportunity in Beverly Hills which is close by. "

"The Woodlands is a safe, quiet, peaceful and serene neighborhood. Very nicely maintained community. It's conveniently located to the Rainbow River with private access, and only 20 minutes to the Gulf and swimming withvthe manatees. We love it here."

"There are no sidewalks so you walk in the road. The speed limit is 30 mph which is safe enough. Lots of folks walking dogs. I met wonderful people walking my dog. Big problem is no fences or dog runs allowed so unless you chain your dog, you walk them."

"I often drive 40 to 50 miles a day for work. the closest grocery or restaurant is 8 miles. costs for conveniences is much greater if you live in a rural area. But I prefer it"
