6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe currently have a 4th grader and a 2nd grader at Ayers; both have been there since TK or K. We absolutely love Ayers. The teachers are all really warm and welcoming, and work together as a very tight, cooperative team. This was especially important at the beginning of our kids' time at Ayers, when we had a couple of principals in rapid succession. We now have Mrs Thomas, a young, vibrant, and very engaging principal who truly loves elementary education. She has proven to be a great leader of an already-strong teaching team. The school is also very inclusive, and any bullying on the basis of race ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexual orientation (older kids, obvs) is dealt with very seriously. The whole staff also works hard to build an inclusive mindset in the kids, so that this stuff happens as little as possible in the first place. I'm writing this in May 2021, as we're just starting to get back to school after the COVID pandemic. The school staff and the district really did everything possible to support kids in distance learning, and families with the stresses of that. They provided laptops and hotspots to families who needed it. My 4th grader was even able to start violin classes online! Overall, this is a really caring, joyous school community. We have a very active PTA that does a lot of fundraising to support our teachers and staff. It honestly feels like a small private school (and yes, we did look at private schools before choosing Ayers).Parent Review2y ago - College Park High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis was an amazing experience for my child. The school was supportive during shelter in place and did everything they could do within their power. Friendships were still formed as best as it could during the circumstances of the pandemicOther Review4mo ago - Concord High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school, just came there and Im an freshman. Rgeardless people are going to say this is a bad school. IT IS NOT. They are very welcoming and nice. They have JROCT, cooking, Public speaking or Debate team/class and more. MUptiple luages classes like French, Spanish and Mandorian chinnise. Tons of sports Football, basketball, tenniss and volleyball track too! The techers are pretty nice they tey to help out as much as they can just ask them. The food her is AWSOME. For kids who have food issues they let anyone and everyone get as much as they need/want they should know the limits. Bring your kid here its awsome!!!Student Review2y ago - Northgate High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe sixth grade teachers partner together and core Math/Science and English/History so they each team has the same students. This gives the teachers more time with their students and helps the students with their transition to Pine Hollow Middle School. It was a great experience.Parent Review1y ago - Ygnacio Valley High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur daughter attended YVHS all four years of high school, graduated in 2020 and is now attending UC Berkeley. Our son is a junior at YV on the Engineering pathway. Both have had excellent teachers, made friends and experienced cultural diversity. YV is a big family, working together for student success. 10/10 is our rating.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 1751 Netto Ct.

"Traffic in Concord is the worst especially in the mornings and in the afternoons starting around 3pm daily. It takes forever to get anywhere around here. "

"The neighborhood is made up of modest single family houses, most of which were built in the 1940’s, but now are being spruced up by new owners. The majority of the houses and yards are small but well kept which makes them great starter homes for first time buyers. One perk of living in this neighborhood is that most of the homes are within walking distance to BART."
