Read what parents are saying about Ayers Elementary SchoolWe currently have a 4th grader and a 2nd grader at Ayers; both have been there since TK or K. We absolutely love Ayers. The teachers are all really warm and welcoming, and work together as a very tight, cooperative team. This was especially important at the beginning of our kids' time at Ayers, when we had a couple of principals in rapid succession. We now have Mrs Thomas, a young, vibrant, and very engaging principal who truly loves elementary education. She has proven to be a great leader of an already-strong teaching team. The school is also very inclusive, and any bullying on the basis of race ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexual orientation (older kids, obvs) is dealt with very seriously. The whole staff also works hard to build an inclusive mindset in the kids, so that this stuff happens as little as possible in the first place. I'm writing this in May 2021, as we're just starting to get back to school after the COVID pandemic. The school staff and the district really did everything possible to support kids in distance learning, and families with the stresses of that. They provided laptops and hotspots to families who needed it. My 4th grader was even able to start violin classes online! Overall, this is a really caring, joyous school community. We have a very active PTA that does a lot of fundraising to support our teachers and staff. It honestly feels like a small private school (and yes, we did look at private schools before choosing Ayers).
Posted by a parent on 5/10/2021Since the start of the school year I have been very impressed with how efficient, organized, parent involved, and child focused this school is. For being a very small school, they seem to have their stuff together, and the teachers seemed really involved with each child's differences, education, and communication with parents.
Posted by a parent on 9/25/2017My daughter is finishing up 4th this year, she's been here since kindergarten. With the exception of her 1st grade teacher, whom seemed a bit too "harsh" for 1st graders, we have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Ayers. - I went here as a child as well, and I turned out great ;) haha!
Posted by a parent on 4/14/2016My student was diagnosed with moderate autism. He was socially awkward and would not interact with others. He has been attending Ayers only sine the start of this 2013-2014 school year and I can already see the difference in him. What is even more amazing is he now socializes with his peers (in and out of school) and comes home and always speaks about his "friends". He has the most amazing teacher and support staff. The Principal is awesome and caring and the office staff a hit! The PTA and their programs are outstanding. Thank you Ayers for bringing out what I always knew was in my child.
Posted by a parent on 2/14/2014I love Ayers, the teachers are fabulous, my daughter is a 3rd grader this year and every teacher she has had has been excellent. Her first Kindergarten teacher made the suggestion to keep her in Kinder another year and I am grateful to her for pushing for it cause it was the best decision we made. The principal this year is wonderful! I am proud to be a parent at Ayers.

Over the last academic year, I have presented (what I believe) valid concerns with the preschool director: (1) children playing in a wet sandbox in 40 degree weather and sending kids home wet because of it, (2) being more aware and present with the kids who are arriving and departing, (3) teaching the children how to clean their nose if they have a cold or constant runny nose instead of just leaving them to pass their germs, (4) changing the filter and cleaning the vent shield because it literally black. Once I voiced any concern, teachers started to treat me differently. Instead of taking the concerns into account and speaking with me further, the director felt it was easier to dismiss my child from the school and unenroll her by the end of the week.Parent Review1y ago - King's Valley Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 children attending KVCS and 1 in the preschool. We are all very pleased with the school. The teachers are loving, communicative, supportive and kind. The admin is understanding and knowledgeable. There's a wide variety of elective teachers. The pick up and drop off is smooth and easy. There's not one negative aspect I could speak on. My children are happy to go to school each day which was not the case last year at a different school. My daughter even said "I love KVCS! It's even shorter than my last school" BUT it's not! It just seems shorter because "time flies when you're having fun!" I also appreciate they don't load the students down with homework each night.Parent Review2y ago - Tabernacle Christian, Inc. School
