7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJackson Elementary has provided a warm, loving, challenging environment for my children. The positive environment starts at the top with principal, Mrs. Miller, and she leads by example. The teachers follow suit and we have been very happy here after transferring from another local school after a house change. My one son's special needs have been addressed well, and all four of my kids have experienced much learning, success, and growth. The parents are encouraged to volunteer in and out of the classroom and the PTO is amazing! There are so many extra-curricular activities available: sports, choir, drama, science activities, art, video production lab, etc. Technology and the arts are also integrated into every day learning. Kindness and acceptance are strongly encouraged and the kids have had great social experiences. Jackson is truly a great place to be!Parent Review7y ago - Marina Village Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMarina Village Middle school is amazing! The staff are super nice and there are many great extracurriculars like Battle of the Books and Spelling Bee! The library is also amazing- the librarian, Ms. Kimberly, really fosters the kids' learning and reading!Student Review1mo ago - Oak Ridge High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is a lot of entitlement in El Dorado Hills in general but that can be attributed to a student's home life. That is not indicative of this school. The school has been very supportive of my kids and has welcomed my input. I see reviews of sour grapes from some of the parents but these kids finish with a quality education and the majority go on to college.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 1750 Via Veritas.

"Music and Arts education and Expressive Arts Therapy are the critical component for the proper development of advanced cognitive functions of our evolutionary young and still evolving human brain. The artistic process that involves metaphorical cognition is the gateway to the adequate self-perception, through th prism of sensory reactivation, crucial to serve as the counterpoint to the societal convention of emotional self-repression that debilitates our sensory abilities to inform our self-preservation instinct, involved into prioritizing for the right reasons and choosing the right goals and purposes."
