5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur oldest child attended this school, and now our youngest is there. It is the best elementary school in Unicoi County (in my opinion.) The building may not be new, but the teachers are wonderful and the principal is top notch. It is a smaller school with only two classes for each grade, so most all of the teachers know all of the students there. It makes for a very friendly, safe feeling environment. Ask any of the surrounding cities and they will tell you that this town is well known for not being as accepting for other races. While I will say that I grew up there and over time, it has gotten slightly better. It still is not embracing other cultures and allowing your child to become well rounded individuals who want to promote diversity and inclusion.Other Review9y ago
