Not very willing to work with parents..I have to give it a 1 out of 10 rating

I’ll start by saying my family moved to the area from out of state 2 years ago. We were nervous about the schools to begin with u to the rapid growth of the area. We had multiple friends “warn” us that the schools were not great, but we still chose to place our 11 year old at ACIC starting at 5th grade in 2023. We were worried about class sizes at the time because our daughter has inattentive type ADHD and social anxiety. She had a 504 plan in place but by mid November of the school year I had requested an IEP. She struggled most of the school year, but had a wonderful math teacher, Mrs. Duncan, who worked with her to keep her head above water. It took months for her IEP to be approved, it was finally approved at the end of the school year just in time for the KSA. At the start of 2024-2025 school year 6th grade I was again concerned with class sizes, most classes are at the state max 32:1. My daughter again continued to struggle getting her work done and turned in, she continuously acted out and misbehaved, something she had never done before, and her grades were atrocious. Her IEP was not being met at all, no status updates about her goals, etc. I met with the Principal, Mr. Simmons, and Vice Principal, Ms. Reed, to discuss concerns. I do believe they have the kids best interests at heart, they just do not have the staff, funds and support to get results. We found it time to remove our daughter from Allen County Schools at that time and opted for homeschooling.
