6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is unfortunate to say but this is a terrible school. Multiple weapons and drugs are found frequently. The staff jumps to defend themselves rather than the students. They pay no attention to home life and what the child needs while in the building all day. Suspension is used on an insane amount. They don't believe in responsibility. They spent thousands on a risk assessment to not make any changes. Kids are getting pulled from the school left, and right. There are plenty of great staff in this school, but they're unfortunately not in a position of command, or not respected. The vice principal has been reprimanded so many times, but just can't seem to put his broken sword down. Bullying is out of control. Broken bones, weapon threats.Parent Review1y ago

"New Philadelphia is a Family oriented community. The public schooling available is above average. There aren't a lot of jobs available in the area but commuting to a bigger city with more to offer socially with more diversity is not a far distance to travel. "

"My commute was 35 mins on 77 to go to work. My wife works at the local hospital 3 mins away. There is school buses for kids but I personally have not seen a public bus in town. "

"Small town values. Safe places to live, raise children, close enough to the city to enjoy those aspects. Lots and lots of history here. One of the oldest football rivalries in the state of Ohio!! Go Quakers!!!"
