6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFree Home is a fantastic elementary and highly sought after in Cherokee county. Has small student to teacher ratios and the PTA is one of the best, supplying most needs for the school that the county won't provide. When smart boards first started coming out, the PTA bought one for every classroom. The teachers are amazing with high levels of degrees. Not quite sure how they received such a low equity score, but every child/student is treated with the same level of respect and given every opportunity to succeed.Parent Review2y ago - Creekview High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have a son who is in 10th grade and I am so thankful for Creekview. He has a wonderful group of friends and I feel that he is being challenged academically. "Great schools, shopping and family friendly environments. The roads need restructured but lots of grocery stores and public libraries. Garage sales are common all around. Neighbors are generally Fri fly and the county continues to grow. Taxes are relatively in middle class "

"I lived in the Polo Fields for 14 years, leaving GA six years after retiring. I found that neighbors here were snobs, too busy to become friendly with neighbors. Being from WI, I found this disturbing. The climate is great for winter and fall, but horridly humid during summers. This part of GA is victim to rainfall in the small watershed of the Chattahoochie River so that water availability for maintaining landscapes is fickle. Taxes in Forsyth County are low, especially for real estate. The Forsyth County School system is pretty good. I left to return to WI, finding a great neighborhood and very friendly people and cold winter weather---so be it. GA and Forsyth County were a great experience if you can live with the awful commutes in North Georgia and humid summers."

"What used to be a small rural town is now FULL of schools and traffic. Other than that, it’s perfect. It’s safe, clean, the people of the town I feel like are heard by our little government, people are generally nice, we have the lake and the mountain and all the little parks for sports. I wish they’d stop building so many schools but that’s just the times I guess. "
