Posted by a student on 8/15/2026If you want to go to this school it is not for the family centered life style, it is not for those that want equal opportunity for sports and extracurricular activities, it is not for people that move here from out of state that don’t know the right person. We moved here 4 years ago. We have no frie
Posted by a parent on 8/7/2026All schools have their strengths and their challenges, and this one is no exception. Situated in a more affluent area of Cherokee County, the school is supported by a community that is highly engaged and takes genuine pride in its schools. Posted by a parent on 5/7/2026in my opinion, this school really sucks, ive dealt with bullying and felt a toxic atmosphere both at the middle and high school. it 1000% depends on who the kid is and how they get along with/how they are viewed by other kids, but from my experience, i dont think im that bullyable, yet, SOMEHOW, thi
Posted by a student on 12/3/2025This school is known for its very harsh punishment, ruining young adults lives with extreme violation codes and extreme punishments. No support for social and emotional well-being and mental health support. The principal touts his record to the students of how many kids he’s kicked out of the school

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to the area for the school system, and Macedonia has been great for our daughter and we couldn't be more pleased. School is VERY active in the student's growth and allowing them to be kids and have fun. They are also very supportive when the kids appear to be emotionally drained or having non-school issues arise, and the support they provide is beyond what I expected. We've been here a few years now and I couldn't tell you enough just how amazing this school is and how much love and support we get from the teachers, staff, and even the bus drivers.Parent Review1y ago - Free Home Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFree Home is a wonderful school and honestly, better than some of the private schools in the area. My kids best elementary years were at free home. The principal, staff, and teachers are so good and supportive to the kids.Parent Review2y ago - Brenwood Academy
