First off. let me say that I was polite in my tag to MLP (which is public) even though they keep untagging themselves. You cannot silence the truth. Not only did they not send paperwork to transfer my daughter for the first day of school, which completely broke my daughters heart being turned away on the first day at a new beginning. But when it comes to bullying, the VP did nothing but tell us and our daughter to mind her business...when all she did was try to help kids. there was one boy in particular who is still attending, who physically hurt my daughter, i told the VP that this child is going to be a big problem. The boy maniacally laughed when I told the boy he hurt her. I told the VP of other incidents...nothing was done and 2 days later he attacked another girl choking her while the police had to come and take him away. Not only that, but the children run that school. No consequences whatsoever. I do NOT care what your situation is at home, there is NO excuse to touch anyone. My daughter has been through a lot, and just because I fought for her to have a better life so it doesn't show, doesn't mean she hasn't been through things. This school has some great teachers and staff. But the parents here and some teachers and staff have no right to be in charge of anyone. GOOD LUCK if you go here. BTW they did nothing for my IEP daughter.
