Description
Looking for a multi-family property in sought-after Monterey Park? This is the one! It's a GOOD DEAL for investors! The property includes a 3bed/2bath main house, along with a 2bed/1bath apartment above the garage. Rent out both units to get more income, or test out the short-term rental market. The 1544 sq ft main house is a single-level rancher with a big front porch and double entry doors. The layout is great, it only needs minor cosmetic upgrades to attract tenants in 2024. Just steps away from the kitchen, you'll find a covered back patio that spans the entire length of the house. You have plenty of room for alfresco dining & entertaining, and there’s a fenced-in yard for Fido, too. The isolated primary bedroom includes access to the patio as well. BONUS: This property sits at the edge of a hill, so no back neighbors! The garage layout is unique, as it allows the owner to access 3 bays, while the tenant has a separate driveway & 1-car garage at the back. The 800-sq ft garage apartment has a private back entrance and a covered patio with tree-top views. The interior was updated in 2020, with new floors and appliances. The corner windows bring in lots of natural light, and the kitchen has tons of cabinet & counter space. The large bedrooms share the updated hallway bathroom, complete with a custom-tiled tub surround. This house lives up to its street name, as the backyard overlooks the campus of East Los Angeles College. Since the school is across the street, you will always have tenants lined up to live this close to campus. There are lots of shopping & dining options along Atlantic Ave., which is within a 15-min walk or 3-min drive. Hop on the 60 Fwy or the 710 in no time at all! Two blocks away from Brightwood elementary school. Now is the time to invest in fast-growing Monterey Park! Or you could live in one & rent out the other for extra income.
