This property is ideally suited to a couple, retirees or a small family who enjoys the outdoors such as boating, kayaking, canoeing or simply walking to the library, over bridge, Rockerfellow Gardens and beach. The LOCATION is fantastic for the following reasons: Walk to Library - less than 5 minutes Walk to Ames Park - less than 2 minutes Walk to Granada Bridge, Ormond Pier, Casson Park and boating facilities - approx. 5-6 minutes Walk to the Beach over the Granada Bridge, possibly 15-20 minutes. Walk to restaurants, cafes and other shops, approx. 6-10 minutes. This house was renovated extensively a few years ago with original timbers in most of home; new granite kitchen counter; A/C unit and much more. Of significance is the closeness to the Halifax River and all the amenities nearby; the upstairs deck with river view and the ambience of a home that takes you back in time while enjoying modern conveniences like a/c, updated bathroom, kitchen, etc. There are two large double gates (on either side of house) which have sufficient room for boat however, owner does not want this property to be used as a boat yard for several boats or as a storage facility! You can of course have one boat. This is not a commercial property; it is a nice residential neighborhood. Property has large double carport and shed. (Note that there is also a large garage but the owner keeps the garage for storage and will not rent out the garage as part of the property, however, there is ample parking with double carport as well as concrete driveway.)
