4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've been a student here for two years and both years have been the equivalent of hell on earth with admins, none of them care and are willing to throw teachers AND students under the bus to seem as innocent as possible. Several admins have been unwelcoming, and even rude to me and my friends for simply dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, had admins brag about suspending people, and an admin say that if I didn't have anything she'd find something. Not to mention the insane amount of blame that this school puts on students for things they could've helped with. Had an admin get mad at me that I didn't get an email they NEVER SENT OUT about OSTs!Student Review1y ago - Litchfield Middle School

When my son broke his arm at the school, they told my 8y/o son not to cry and sent him back to class. Tried to talk with the principal about the issue but she told me she was too busy and walked away.Parent Review4y ago

"This is a safe place to live, I never feel nervous when my kids want to play outside. I also like to walk the neighborhood and find that neighbors are friendly and say hello. The neighborhood is clean and yards are well kept. Despite bad reputation, both of my kids are APS student and I love all of their teachers. "

"I drive to and from Work . I Lyft for work which is great for anyone without a vehicle. It'd be a plus to have a car in this area but ride shares are a convenient alternative to having a car. Highland Square is just a hop,skip, and a jump away, where there are bars, restaurants, grocery, and shopping. Hardesty park and the local library are in walking distance from me, which are both lovely parks and playgrounds. Sand run parkway is very close, one of the Metro parks. This is a very friendly and fun neighborhood. I love it here 😍 ❤️ Tons of positive energy and great peole."

"Youmay not like that there are no sidewalks. Warning: If you have a small puppy, there are hawks in our neighbor. You may like that the neighborhood is not far from the metro park. "

"We have an annual July 4th neighborhood parade and picnic that brings the whole neighborhood together. We also have a few little libraries that are nice for the children. Our neighborhood is safe and friendly and the Jones are nicely kept."
