I taught at this school years ago and I really enjoyed my experience at this school. I previously taught at a school in Ascension Parish and I hated it. At Henry Ford the students can actually read and comprehend what they read. At the school I worked at in Ascension Parish, I was lucky to have an eighth grade student read on a second grade level. At my school in Ascension we knew a couple of weeks prior to evaluation that the school was going to be evaluated and we went to the perfect school role and acted like a good school is supposed to act. It was nothing but a horse and pony show. When I accepted a job at Henry Ford, I thought that I died and went to heaven. I had no problems with the students and I was amazed at how efficient Henry Ford was. When some people told me that Henry Ford was the worst school in Jefferson Parish, I told those people that they sure didn't know what the word worst really meant. My only regret was that I wished that I had started my career working at a school in Jefferson Parish. At Ford, the teachers really cared for the students and the majority of students really cared about their education.

honestly they need better n education people in the whole school new principal she does even do any as a principal she’s never there when you need her in the office or at school the people in the front office communicate right never know. anything teachers are horrible also the PE teachers n the bus drivers just disrespectful.
