This school was not much caring. When was in third grade, one of my friends was being slapped and scratched by 1st graders running a lap around the small field. The staff did nothing about this. I would not recommend going to this school. If you are zoned, find somewhere else. twitchell is a better option!

Could improve including families. Parents can’t chaperone on trips seems odd. Even if fingerprint badged why can’t they?

This is my daughter's first year, not in private school, so we were a little apprehensive about enrolling her at Twitchel. Our experience has been nothing short of amazing! The majority of the reason is because Miss Christina Garcia is an absolute angel teacher sent from heaven! She really cares about all of her students. She's very communicative and we always know what's going on in the classroom with our child. She even makes the kids feel special by implementing fun Friday! I know my daughter looks forward to it every week. Last week they even got their nails done! The amount of care That has gone to teaching the kids in this first grade class, is just amazing. If it wasn't for Miss Garcia, I think our experience would be much different. We are so grateful for her!

You get out what you put in. I have had 4 of my kids attend this school. There is a wide variety of classes, activities, clubs, sports available. My kids who took advantage of these opportunities really enjoyed high school. The academics also offered them every opportunity to attend any college they wanted to go to. My kids have all scored very well on the ACT, so the school is doing something right. All 3 of my kids that have graduated or are graduating have been offered academic scholarships. The school isn't going to do the work for you but all of the pieces necessary to be successful are here if you are willing to work hard.
