It is overall a decent school. Although, it is a bit unorganized and the leadership is lacking. PTSA is going downhill. Principal Totten does her job fairly well, but she get easily flustered and immature when things don’t go her way. It is easy to spot this with her. We need strong leadership and levelness for GHE to be excellent. There is no room for pettiness and chaos when it comes to leading a large school like GHE. I wish to see more accountability and professionalism from leadership so teachers and staff can follow. Teachers are excellent but also lack leadership qualities.

NO BODY CARES FROM TEACHERS TO OFFICE...CALLED TO GET INFO ON MY SON GETTING DETENTION...NO RETURN CALL...THEFT OF BACKPACKS...BULLYING

My daughter is at Sylvester this year. This school has many wonderful educators, I could not say enough positive things about the teaching staff. The school building itself can use some love and funding. The administrative staff could do a little better, but the teachers are inspiring, dedicated and talented. Hope WA will dedicate more funding to this school, the teachers here deserve better, as so the children in the community.
