7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does not teach they ask you questions you know the answers to and will never tell you. I have only had two teachers that I have actually learned stuff from and they were elective teachers. I never had problems with academics in 6th grade but 7th and 8th grade was a whole other problem, they don’t tell you about work that’s due and they expect you to remember to do it. Also they assign multiple stuff a day without knowing other teachers are also doing that making their students stressed more than they have ever been stressed. Some students even vape in the bathrooms hoping for a better feeling then what they would feel like in this horrible environment called a classroom. Do NOT take your kids here.Student Review2mo ago20 Reviews - Valhalla High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI see a lot of comments talking about the bad teachers and it only applies if you take standard classes. I’m a senior right now and I’ve taken standard classes in freshmen and sophomore years and I’ve taken AP and honors classes in junior and senior years and it’s a way better experience as the teachers have way more experience teaching and they are overall well equipped for teaching. My AP and honors class teachers have been amazing as they make the classes that would’ve been otherwise boring fun and interesting and make taking higher level classes worth it. If your a parent I would strongly recommend you encourage (or just force) your kids to take honors/AP classes because they really aren’t that hard unless your taking like 3+ of them and they help kids make friends in the right groups since most people who take standard classes make friends who don’t care about school or getting good opportunities for colleges and they end up not caring themselves. Also although I just wrote about how amazing AP and honors classes are, I would recommend not taking AP lit(or any branch of English) with any other class that has a lot of homework since I heard that it has quite a bit of homework and essays.Student Review1y ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near 1635 Grove Rd.

"Some homelessness. Be mindful of where you allow your children to go off alone. Also, some motorists drive fast down the streets"

"My husband I walk are dogs often. I hope others don’t mind it. The only negative is when neighborhood dogs bark the entire time you walk by. I know for us we bring are dogs in the house if they are barking. Wish others would do the same. "

"Crest is great neighborhood. It feels like a small town but in the city. When you drive up the hill you’re met with a beautiful view of the valley. There’s a school, small convenience store, a mom and pops Mexican restaurant, a gas station, and a little park for kids all on one road."

"Having recently been released I was afraid I wouldn't fit in here. To my surprise I've run in to a good number of acquaintences from the inside. They've pointed me to a number of jobs. So many unsuspecting opportunities."

"To many homeless people. Always trash laying in. Pet owners don’t pick up their pets poop. Kids are up late playing in the court yard and parking lot without supervision. "
