Wonderful with front office, teachers and anyone I encounter. Amazing!

This school has changed A LOT. The school’s “A” rating means nothing. The kids cheat a lot and teachers are unable to monitor the kid’s laptops. Kids that get expelled from other schools are quietly dumped here. Kids are completely out of control with extensive bullying, profanity and disrespect. Two years ago, a teacher got sent to the hospital after getting beat up by a student and kids in the class who witnessed it were left traumatized. Some kids are too scared to eat lunch because they have assigned seats and are forced to eat with bullies. Others are scared to use the restrooms. This year, parents got a v-mail about a “cigarette” smell in the hallway that was 7th grade girls smoking things in the bathroom. They remove programs to make room for students who don’t speak any English and then ask for parent volunteers to teach those new kids English.The dean plays favorites, thinks he runs the school and singles out certain kids all while the principal looks the other way. Racial slurs are spewed by kids in front of teachers with no consequences. Dress code is never enforced and some girls dress very inappropriately. A lot of classes are a joke with many complaints. Some teachers give kids free time every day instead of teaching. If you raise a concern, certain teachers retaliate and others tell you they would rather do something else instead of teaching. If grades slip, you get a phone call, check Skyward and see that the teacher didn’t bother to update the grade resulting in the phone call. Weekly email messages are mainly about self-congratulatory teachers passing awards on to each other. Think twice before sending your kid here.
