Cozy home in water priveleged community. This home was completely renovated (electical, HVAC, etc) in 2009, with bathrooms updated in 2020. There are hardwood floors throughout. There is a small fenced in back yard. The best feature of this house in the community - friendly, helpful neighbors and regular community events for families. Bring your boat, kayak, or paddleboards (boat docking fees are reasonable; kayak storage at the water's edge is available; walk your paddleboard 5 min to the water).

There are 2 bathrooms with showers (no tub), 2 bedrooms. The kitchen is small, with a bar for eating - there is a room that can be an office or dining room just off the kitchen. The sunny back yard is great for gardening & there are already raised beds there. A garden shed provides space for storage. Pets are possible, but need approval and a pet deposit.

Located 8 miles from the USNA and close to downtown Annapolis and 30 min from BWI Airport and the Washington DC metro station.
Closeby are grocery stores, a library, retail stores, and restaurants.

    "Great neighborhood for families of all kinds and ages. People may have different backgrounds but we all look out for each other and each others kids. The access to nature and the mostly quiet nights full of stars are priceless. It is one lane and lane off the peninsula - prepare for the road to be blocked for hours at least a couple times a year due to trees or power lines being down - other than that occasional inconvenience - itā€™s a lovely place to live. Also - folks really seem to like their fireworks ALL YEAR ROUND!!!!"

    "We're right off of Mayo Road, close but not too close to Route 2. It's so easy to get to 97 & 50. Just drive to the top of the street, take a right onto Mayo, a right on 2 (aka Solomon's Island Road), cross the South River Bridge and you're there. Close to everything. The best of a nice quiet neighborhood and proximity to Annapolis, Baltimore and DC. ā˜®ļø"

    "4th of July at Beach 3 is epic! We walk down with chairs and a cooler and hang out all evening with our community. There are great little playgrounds spread throughout the beaches. Also piers and boat slips. A great variety of homes makes for interesting walks. The schools are excellent and Edgewater Elementary is to be completely renovated in 2018-19."
