Description

Cute, casual and comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath Sausalito houseboat with south-facing, open-floor plan featuring kitchen, dining & living areas and enclosed sunroom on back deck which gives the entire main level a sense of spaciousness and functionality. Two separate and sizable bedrooms with ensuite baths, new carpet, new interior paint throughout, newly coated decks and roofing and all-day light. Oh, don't forget the 3rd floor roof deck with the epic, panoramic 360 degree views! Excellent price for a well maintained houseboat on an amazingly friendly dock. Hop in the water and have a paddle, dine al fresco with the neighbors and swim vigorously in the Bay to train for your next Iron Man. The Sausalito floating home waterfront is where it's at. Why live in a su-burb when you can inhabit something su-perb?

  • Megan M.
"There are a lot of community events in Sausalito. I don’t actually attend them though, but I like that they take place and I think that if I had a family I’d go to them"
  • Shawna
"Fast cars driving on the small and narrow streets. It enough poop bag stations in the neighborhood "
  • Sharna
"It’s a great neighborhood to walk in but there are not a lot of sidewalks. So you have to constantly listen for cars, which unfortunately are often driven too fast without a lot of considerations for pedestrians.. "
  • Shawna
"Small streets and cars can get close when walking dogs. But most people are very pet friendly and like seeing the dogs"
  • Megan M.
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 5 years. I'm looking to move into a larger house and I know I want to stay in Sausalito. It's convenient to get to central and northern Marin as well as close enough to SF. Having the water so close by is wonderful!"
  • Megan M.
"Super easy. I commute against rush hour traffic each direction. Right now I am working from home, so I do not commute at all. "
  • Teriklang
"The community of residents is mostly fantastic. The schools are somewhat lackluster but are trying to get better. "
  • Jean
"There is a Sausalito art festival every year annually and lots of great restaurants within walking distance "

"Chili cook off, Christmas boat lights parade, Cruising club, Easter egg hunt, Fourth of July parade, small town feel but so close to city with all the city has to offer."
  • Shannon.s.valka
"Lots of fun kiddo things to do. Bad grade school (K-5th) public schools. The middle school and high schools are in the next city up ( one exit) and are quite good. Otherwise, the southern marin mothers group is very active here for noms of young kids and there are several fantastic private school for all educational philosophies. Overall, a great city for kids. Lots of tourist activity, but strong neighbor support. Lots of parks public spaces and restaurants that are kid friendly. "
  • Jorge P.
"It’s a smooth drive over the Golden Gate Bridge to San Francisco. Some traffic to and from between 4:00pm and 6:00pm, but is bareable."
  • Helen T.
"The Fourth of July celebrations in Sausalito are great — everyone turns out for the parade and then post-parade celebrations. "

  • Shannen B.
"I just moved in this month. But so far the best part about Sausalito is the community. Everyone is SO kind and neighborly here. Shocking moving from the city where it’s the opposite. "
  • Sandy L.
"The narrow roads and spectacular views make Sausalito a beautiful and quiet place to live. The air is fresh and the weather is spectacular. "
  • Jenn
"Boat parade, art festival and fourth of July parade are always fun. We love the playground, library and jazz by the water in the summer. "
  • Helen V. T.
"The roads are narrow and windy, and without footpaths, it’s not the safest for walking dogs. The trails nearby are great though!"
  • Jenn
"Commute is no problem from Sausalito to San Francisco. Getting to the airport can be a little tricky, but not horrible. "
  • Helen V. T.
