1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter had been going to this school since kindergarten. Her first few years were great. Over the last year there has been a change in the administrative system. The new assistant principle does not care about the children and/or parents and shows little to no empathy. She has called my child out of her name and doesn’t handle situations well. There are still a few great teachers but some are the same way with name calling and not knowing how to handle the older children or their classroom. Some teachers grade your child depending on if they like them or not, totally unfair. If I could do it over again I would not have sent my child here at least during the middle school years. WITH MIND FRAME OF LOCAL GOVERMENT AND TEACHERS ATTITUDES TOWARDS STUDENTS, THEY ARE NO LONGER THE CARRAIGE THAT TOTALLY TAKES YOUR CHILD TO THE NEXT STEP OF GETTING YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER INTO COLLEGE. TO GET WHAT YOU FEEL YOUR CHILD DESERVES, THE ALONG WITH THE STUDENT MUST TAKE ON THE RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THE STUDENT GETS ACCESS TO WHAT THE SCHOOL MIGHT NOT OFFER. WITH THAT BEING SAID IS FORD A GOOD OR BAD SCHOOL, NO NOT AT ALL. CASS TECH, DESPITE ITS GRADIOSO IMAGE OF THE PAST ISN'T WHAT IT USED TO BE. RENNISANCE IS THE SAME JUST, IN ASPANKING NEW BUILDING WITH THE SAME TEACHERS AS IN ANY OTHER PUBLIC SCHOOL. "My family moved in this neighborhood in August 1970 it is still a beautiful neighborhood with some but not many abandoned homes I still call this neighborhood home my sister still lives here I have been trying to find a nice home also. "

"I’ve lived in this community for 17 years I’ve seen children become adults and parents. I’ve seen change in our community from our government but I want and expect more from them. I’m happy that there is involvement from the community on decisions effecting this area but we need more stake holders to get involved "
