Monte Vista might not be the right fit if you struggle with fast-paced and rigorous classes. I have an IEP and multiple learning differences and I am struggling so much to keep up and finish my homework. The resource teachers are really great and will help you get accommodated and pass your classes. Most of the students are nice and friendly. Overall a good school.

We are new to DVM this year and have felt very welcomed and supported in our child's learning. The new principle, Jeff Osborn, has done an outstanding job with being available and visible and caring about the school in all aspects. The teaching staff has been strong in motivating and educating and created a fun environment. All schools have small areas that can be improved and, from what we've seen this year, DVM listens to our thoughts and does their best to make the school a great place for the kids.

We went to Creekside from 2012 through 2020. My youngest finished 5th grade just last Spring. Each of my 3 children enjoyed their years at this school and continue to do well at the secondary schools in this district. We moved to the area in 2012 and were pleasantly surprised by the teachers at this school coming from a very rigorous private school in the city. The teachers and staff are truly dedicated to the students and care deeply about their whole development - not just math or reading but they look out for whether your child is developing as a whole - social and emotional development is also very important to them. The community is very supportive and we made lots of friends during our 8 years at the school. We happily volunteered to raise funds to make the school have just about everything they needed. I am very grateful for the many years we went to this school and cannot say enough to praise the teachers.
