6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school doesn't deserve 10 stars. I have kept telling the Principal since November 30th that some kids bullying my son but to my surprise no one from the Administration paid attention. Last week kids pushed my son to the ground, and one of the kids few minutes later shouted at my son in the presence of the teacher: "You done! You done!" Today this kid kicked my son, threw his belongings into another class, and to the hall. Nobody from the administration paid attention. The teacher advised my son to write her an email because she had a meeting at that time. That school is not a safe place for your child.Parent Review4mo ago - Eastchester Senior High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEastchester High School is a good high school if your looking for an education, most teachers are very nice and make learning fun and exciting. How ever, there are a couple of outliers, some administration have come into the school building already in a bad tone. Everyone experiences bad times in their lives but how they deal with it is what matters then what actually happens. I wish that Eastchester High School cared more about their hiring policy because if they would, certain administration would and should not be there. I am a graduated student and personally I would send my kids to this school, it creates a good atmosphere and a caring atmosphere. I would recommend that people raise complaints against the female teachers who teach health, they are not good at concealing how unhappy they are and almost go out of their way to give students who are doing well a hard time.Other Review1mo ago - Greenvale School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my daughter's second year of attending this school, she is in 3rd grade now. Last year she was only attending in person 2 days a week for most of the year and found the school very resourceful and supporting. I think this is a great school. Both my husband and I are professionals with college degrees and although we think math program should be a lot better, it does not relate to the school itself. All teachers we had were fantastic. They will gladly work with you if you think your child needs more rigid exercises and homework. Every time I reached out to my child's teacher he or she would reply within an hour- call me or email. I find supporting teachers amazing, too. This school has good resources, we specifically did not consider some other schools in the area because we felt like this option would be better. Even though our child attended Gifted and Talented program in the city (and there is no equivalent here) and take additional advanced math classes outside of the school, we are very happy with the way the school is always willing to accommodate our needs. Also the class sizes are nice, in 3rd grade our child has 17 classmates.Parent Review2y ago - Waverly Early Childhood Center

"I drive to the Bronx which is only 25 minutes. It’s not bad. The traffic coming home is typical rush hour volume, but thankfully there are many route options which help with accidents and road closures."

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for close to 27 years. It is a wonderful place to raise children, the schools are great, and there are many extra curricular activities for all ages. Neighbors are very friendly and stores and schools are walking distance. Tennis courts, fields and the community pool are also walking distance. "
