Racism toward blacks and latinos. Don't come at all.

As a parent, I have concerns about my child’s experience in this school. There are ongoing behavioral issues in the classroom that are impacting the learning environment. My child has described students not staying in their seats, frequent distractions, and a general lack of focus during instructional time. This makes it difficult for students who are trying to learn to stay engaged and complete their work.I would appreciate more structured classroom management so that students can better understand the material and stay focused during class.

Overall an average school. Most teachers are fine but some horrible. Me and my class have been called “stupid little things,” “flies,” etc. Teachers have mocked me. Teachers have said our brains aren’t “complex enough to understand anything.” I wouldn’t recommend this school as someone who has been going here all my life.

Our son had an excellent experience in this school. The teachers were the perfect amount of stern yet loving that allowed the boys to respect them and each other while fostering a positive learning environment and encouragement to continue to improve.

After two years in the toddler program at Hudson Country Montessori School, I can say without hesitation that I cannot recommend this school enough for families considering a Montessori environment. My child's growth has been remarkable. Within the first week of starting at 18 months, our child was reciting ABCs. Now she speaks in full, complex sentences and engages with the world around her with a curiosity and confidence that genuinely surprises me. That kind of development is the direct result of an environment that is intentional, nurturing, and committed to each child's individual journey.What distinguishes Hudson Country Montessori from other programs is the culture and the fact that they are actually an accredited Montessori school. My daughter is not just known by her classroom teachers. She is known by the entire faculty. Administrators, staff across the school understand her personality and clearly care about her as an individual.
