4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI absolutely love Countryside Elementary! My child is a different child since transferring to this school. No more thinking that he's a bad kid or being told that by adults. Here at Countryside, my child feels supported, is encouraged, has great support from teachers and staff, and truly loves coming to school again. It didn't happen overnight but the consistent positive support from Mrs. Hessler, staff, and teachers has encouraged my child to open up, trust again, and feel confident. Countryside has the PBS (Positive Behavior Support) program which my child was apart of. For every IEP meeting, Mrs. Hessler attended every meeting. When my child first transferred to Countryside she was at the introduction meeting. She didn't have to be but she was. It's this kind of leadership with genuine care for our children that I have witnessed and been on the receiving end over the years my child has attended Countryside. Not going to lie, Countryside's principal, vice principal, staff (both Countryside & District), teachers, & PBS teacher (especially Ms. Garcia, Ms. Buchmiller, & Ms. Dimatteo) have empowered and prepared my child for success in and outside of the classroom, academically, socially, mentally, and behavior wise too. Thank you Countryside! We will always have a special place in our hearts for all of you. I'm sure it goes without saying but I'll say it anyway...I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Countryside Elementary School!Parent Review2y ago - Shadow Ridge High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTHIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.The teachers here are JOKES. They don't know how to teach, and even if they do, they lack passion and wanting to CONNECT with students. They don't care about the emotional state of your children, and don't care how stressed they are, or how they confused they are. I don't know why half of the teachers here are teaching, some of them admit they hate it. Specifically, the math department here. Not only are half of the teachers cruel, lacking compassion and empathy, and egotistical, they don't know how to teach. The science department throws a textbook in your face, with a note packet that you have to fill out (you can find a majority of them online.) However, there are exceptions, such as Ms.Roberts, Ms.Wenz, and Mr.Moore. They are teachers who are respected by the majority of the school. The students here are robots, they don't talk, they don't have opinions, and if they do, all they know how to do is gossip. Your student will grow up with students who are some of the most dull, uninspiring, and rude jerks that I have ever seen. When I go to this school, I genuinely find it difficult to talk to my peers, cause none of them know how to have a conversation. There is almost no student spirit. Almost no diversity, and even if there is, the school feels segregated by the students. The counselors here are hit and miss, Ms.Brayden is a wonderful counselor from what I've heard. If you want your child to have a high school experience of mean teachers, boring coursework, and dull peers, send them to this school. If I could give this school negatives, I would.Student Review4mo ago - Ashton Ranch Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children who attend this school. I am a teacher (20 years) and I am grateful for the current administration. They have gone above and beyond to support my daughter academically and emotionally. They set a standard for excellence in character that you don’t always see at a public school. Their variety of sports and electives have kept my son and daughter involved and engaged as learners. The teachers have been supportive and responsive whenever my children have needed any support. I would highly recommend Ashton Ranch Middle School.Parent Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 15583 W Port Au Prince Ln.
