Shadow Ridge High School

Kids walking home 3 miles I've had my kid get heatstroke walking home. Bring the busses back. The amount the school gets paid per child we should have busses available for these kids. Pick up for kindergarten they have us in 120 degrees waiting while a lady calls kids 1 by 1 there is NO order and no plan to make this better. Kids at recess SHOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE THEIR WATER BOTTLES NOT BE FORCED TO DRINK IN OUTSIDE WATER FOUNTAIN.

Our family moved to the Cortessa neighborhood so that my children would be sure to attend Mountain View and Shadow Ridge. The administration, teachers, and staff are dedicated, passionate, and determined to create an environment conducive to learning and growing. As a former substitute teacher, my favorite school to teach at was Mountain View. The children are eager to learn, up to the challenge and rigors provided. The MVS PTA are second to none. They are welcoming, kind, and go above and beyond to make the school and the events they hold engaging, inviting, and inclusive. We grow to love Mtn View more every year and are so glad we made the decision to include Mtn View in our village as we raise our kids.
