"I've lived in this area for almost 9 years and it's mostly quiet and pretty much clean. The schools are good and if you don't have a car the bus can get you to and fro where you need to go for the most part."
  • Kathleen N.
"It is a quiet rural area with lots of opportunities for recreation yet it is near major roadways making commuting to work easy. The school district is excellent "
  • Yisycastro
"my neighborhood has public transportation and is close to major highways. close to restaurants, parks"
  • Samantha B.
"I’ve lived here since May and I can imagine myself residing here with my family for the rest of my life. "
  • Jackie M.
"dog owners would like the most about living in my neighborhood is there are plenty of trails and places that are dog friendly."
  • Eadams
"Medium to difficult Depends on time of day. Lots of routes to take Beautiful scenery along the way. "
  • Gail B.
"There is access to major roads but they are busy during rush hour. my commute is 35-45 minutes to travel to the King of Prussia area."
  • Barbara B.
"Dogs on a leash are always welcome in this area! We are very close to numerous parks and areas that welcome dogs even some outdoor cafes! "
  • Jillian R.
"25-minute drive to Malvern with quite a few alternative routes to choose from. It's nice to avoid 422 on my commute."
  • Kathy
"I work from home. Local highways are a mess in the morning. Access to public transport is limited. It takes at least an hour to get to King of Prussia from here in the morning "
  • Gail B.
"People walk their dogs often and everyone cleans up after themselves and their pets. I live by the pool and you'll even see dogs and kids playing their a lot. "
  • Rasnruckus
"Due to increased traffic in the area what was formerly a nice little commute has turned into a nightmare!!"
  • Ljconkright
"We love to walk the neighborhood - especially across the Sheeder bridge! It is a very quaint community with beautiful views and very nice homes."
  • Rasnruckus
"My commute to work is anxiety generating and nerve wracking! Travel in this area during rush hour is rarely pleasurable!"
  • Tony O.
"The majority of apartments are within reasonable walking or driving distance from most points of interest."
  • Zandersmith17
"I grew up here it’s a great place to raise a family with great schools. And you don’t have to travel far to get to everyday places!"
  • Gerald M.
"Live here. great school system good neighborhood. Biking paradise Walking distance from the Schuykill bike trail. Minutes from some of the areas best trout fishing"
  • Jennifer L.
"I think that Spring City has this great small town atomsphere and has a lot of potential for fresh and exciting things if people would come and give a chance. It really has that potential to have that Mayberry close knit apple pie Americana feel if people would give it the opportunity. And it is close enough to major highways that you still have all the amenities that you need close by. I like and it is in a great school district. Thank you"
  • Medico19
"Lovely quiet area, with safe walking,. a short drive to grocery shopping, pharmacies, and gas stations, and restaurants. An excellent school district with close elementary schools."
  • wlattanzio
"The homes are reasonably priced in the area and there is plenty of parking, a huge plus. Without traffic you can be in King of Prussia in less than 15 minutes. There is plenty of local shopping. Shopping in Collegeville and Oaks is less than 10 minutes. There are few bars/pubs in the town, but Phoenixville is a short drive with a good choice of pubs and restaurants. The school district is excellent with a great kindergarten and grade school right in town. The borough itself is fairly quiet. There is no real public transportation. Septa runs one bus in town. There is a bike/walking trail in town the runs through to Valley Forge. Spring City is a good area for a young couple needing to be closer to metropolitan Philly but doesn't want the hassle of overcrowding/expensive apartments, and no parking."
  • Larry D.
"Very nice home. Nice neighborhood. Quiet and little traffic. Corner lot. Attractive and clean."
