I was surprised by some of the earlier reviews. We picked this area for several reasons and one was the school district. The teachers are excellent and the school is super safe. On top of that we now have a brand new school that is super modern.

There are a few very good teachers. Most are average. If you are in the middle you will be lost. If you are a slower learner, you will be the group focused on. If you in the fast learning group, they believe you will push and enrich yourself. The administration is not really watching what's going on

The ratio of 14 children to one teacher is not accurate. There are usually about 21 kids in each classroom, with some classrooms having more. Over 95% of the teachers that we have encountered have been excellent. Very engaged with the students and very caring. I am not impressed with the principle,

We are newer to KWS, but our 14 year old started halfway through 7th grade last year and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the initial tour through his experience in the classroom, we have nothing but positive feedback to share. The campus is beautiful and I love that they have the opportunity, even in middle school, to spend time outdoors every day. We've been very pleased with the curriculum as well, both academically and the broader holistic focus on the arts, music, language, gardening and more. Highly recommend Kimberton Waldorf!
