We have been very happy at Brooks Hill! Classroom experiences always vary with teachers, but I have found that almost without exception, our teachers have been excellent. There is a constant drive to follow and adapt to best practices. I appreciate the play-based Kindergarten initiative. The PTA is very active and involved which adds a lot to the student experience.

Fairport is a true community in which the High School prepares its students to enter into college extremely well prepared. The staff is not only concerned about academia, but also concerned about the mental and emotional health of the student body, always putting the students first. I graduated from FHS and I can attest that FHS shaped who I am today. I was not in any sports, but highly involved in the extra curricular activities offered such as yearbook. The math department is outstanding and the teachers are overwhelmingly supportive.

I am very pleased with Martha Brown. This is my Eldest s first year in Middle school so our anxiety was pretty high but through the school open house we were put at ease. The school has an open house for each grade and even smaller groups for first year attendees of the school. The teachers covered what they were going to teach, how they were going to teach it, what to expect and how to get involved. The principal and staff spent some time going over how they teach the students how to manage different classes and teachers and how to organize their work into a binder for planning purposes. I was very impressed. The school does have a heavy homework load and there is a study hall but the work load is still heavy. The teachers are great working with the students and parents to ensure that the student is not falling behind. The teachers and principal communicate with parents very often and address issues immediately. The after school clubs are run very well, they are organized and staffed properly to add to the students educational experience. From my perspective I find this school to be very well ran.I have now had two students in the school and you realize how good it is when your child moves on. We have seen the same growth in our second child's experience in the school.
