Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from September 27, 2023
If you prefer the clean, minimal lines of contemporary architecture and design, buying a house in Bucks County can be a challenge. Now couple that with preferring Council Rock School District AND wanting a large lot with a beautiful view. Luckily for you the perfect match has arrived! While the front of this sleekly modern home has distinctive vertical floor to ceiling windows, the majority of the windows face the rear creating an open and sunny feeling with your own private view not only of the patio and koi pond but the large yard and acres of open association land beyond. You get all of the beautiful view with none of the upkeep! Entering the dramatic two story foyer is your first clue that this is no cookie-cutter colonial. A spacious living room is to the right, open to the formal dining room. In keeping with the modern aesthetic, the focused recessed lights create a lighting effect centered over the table. Next on to the wonderful recently remodeled kitchen with a large center island, walls of cabinetry and gorgeous granite countertops. The breakfast area has matching glass display cabinetry and storage. Nothing cluttered and fussy – just clean lines and everything in it’s place. The family room is the best place to relax with a beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace the central focus. All of these rooms have large windows to capture that view. A laundry room with separate entry and large half bath complete this floor. Upstairs, the primary bedroom suite has been remodeled for comfort and luxury. The suite consists of a large bedroom with California style open vanity with glass vessel sink, a large open sitting room and a fabulous bath. An interesting decorative opaque window was added for light from the floor to ceiling windows in the living room below. The impressive master bath features a double stall shower with dual heads, two sinks, radiant heat and a heated towel rack. To top it all off there is a second huge closet, this one a walk in. Three generously sized bedrooms share a well-appointed hall bath. Nearly new roof, full basement and two car garage are only a few of the additional features. Outside the rear patio features a wonderful koi pond water feature to relax and enjoy while gazing at the seasonally changing long distance view. Directly across from the 1711 acres of walking and biking trails and facilities that comprise Tyler State Park, two miles from Newtown Borough, 33 miles from Philadelphia and 69 miles from NYC this home is a unique choice in a fabulous location – and all in Council Rock School District!

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat an AMAZING public school. It’s nearly as good as a high-end private school. They are proactive in dealing with learning (and other) issues. A wonderful, compassionate community surrounds this gem. We had high expectations for this school and these have been surpassed.Parent Review6y ago - Council Rock High School North

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attended CRN schools from K-11 (sophomore year). The level of entitlement goes unmatched and we were a family of “have nots” (aka lived in a townhome). My child played sports, was an average student and was bullied. Threatened to be beaten up on numerous occasions, verbally assaulted in the halls and lunchroom and the bullies… those kids should just be ignored. Just don’t pay attention to them was the administrations solution. We moved out of the district for Junior and Senior year. Usually a tough transition for a high school kid. Not ours! They flourished and ended up with an academic scholarship to college. Had we stayed, this would never have happened. If you’re what the town considers a “have not”, do your children a favor and find another place to live. It’s not worth your children’s mental health.Parent Review1y ago - Newtown Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is draining for students. No diversity at all and overall very boring. I know students who have been harassed inside and outside of school. The teachers are strict and not understanding. The school will slam you for minor things like chewing gum, talking, being late, etc. Which results in 1 hour and 45 minute detentions. The teams separate the grade completely because they don't have lunch together so you can only communicate with your team for most of the time. School life is very stressful and for the past two years of me being here, I have been at my lowest point. The test scores are great but the learning environment and kids are very dull and depressing. I do not recommend this school for parents who want their child to be excited about school and happy overall in their school environment.Student Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 147 Penns Woods.

"The Commute is very very efficient the highways are very close and we are very close to the highway. The drive is very very easy and fast. High-speed as much as possible and get ticketed often I’m starting to get sick and tired of the police they’re always policing the area. I’m gonna move to Wyckoff New Jersey soon. I like New Jersey better than Pennsylvania"
