Next there's a study that could easily be a 1st floor bedroom. The natural woodwork is believe to be Butternut and Cherry, Ash and Oak just beautiful! The living room is a nice size. The second floor host 3 bedrooms. One is a 3 room suite with an library and private bath. Another ihas a dressing room and shares a large bath with two floor suite, comprising a bedroom, living room and balcony. If you can find the circular stairs, there is a perfect room for you. You have to see it. The barn is a 3 story post and beam and you can drive into all three levels because the third floor high drive is sound. We park our tractor, snowblower and implements up there. The lower level of the barn is currently used as a kennel. The first floor has a few horse stalls. The land is level pasture. You can park several cars here too. The basement and lower level of the barn were affected by the last flood as the town reservoir line broke in our driveway. The town repaired everything and we have had no further issues. This a wonderful property and should be seen to appreciate it.

    "The whole area is walkable but the road this property sits on is more hilly. Leash law in Barton Glover/West Glover and a local who complains if it is not adhered to (me). Walking, biking, jogging in these areas is almost meditative it is so beautiful. In my 60 years I have never found nicer neighbors than in Barton. Shopping is more troublesome for we don't have department stores save one smaller expensive store but Amazon is great. Grocery shopping is fine; we have both local markets and larger markets in Newport which is about 20 miles away. We do have farms thus manure spreading and if this bothers you rural Vermont is not the place for you but the farmer in the area tries to spread right before rain so generally you are only angry for a couple days while the tractors are speeding down the roads. Traffic is generally respectful and as you would expect in rural area. If you are not from Vermont and don't like cold do not come here because too many people have seen our beauty and fallen in love only to find they can't stand the temps; if you are from down south rent first and if you still love Vermont move in. Newspapers are terrible featuring high school sports and obits, but the web is great. Lots of wildlife. Drawbacks: gout weed, Japanese knotweed and burdock -constant battle if you like foes not on video games."
