2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school Is horrible they tell our kids to bring bottles of water and stuff but then they make them pour it out when the water machine doesn’t work they have to work clear bookbags which is hard to find so they might as well wear normal book bags but parents I recommend don’t send your kid to the school. The teachers are disrespectful to your kids write them up for nothing.Parent Review8mo ago - James Avant Elementary School

"I have lived in this neighborhood for three years. I feel very safe and comfortable. There are a lot of friendly people in the neighborhood, a lot of people who walk their dogs every day, and I've never had any problems with neighbors or people or packages or anything. In addition, the brand new Rec Center is beautiful and there are many beautiful parks nearby."

"This neighborhood is in one of the oldest parts of the town, it's a Hodge podge of one or two home dating back to around 1912, early 50's ranch homes, and a few brick bungalows. It backs against a ravine, so it has a very secluded feel, even though it's located in what has become a major retail destination in this area."

"Safe to be out at night. I don't worry about locking my door if I'm gone for a short time. Kids rarely play outside. Mall is very dangerous and full of gangs."
