As a former student I was there from 2012-2013 for my 6th grade year. The staff and teachers were all horrible besides two of my teachers. I was picked on and bullied. I have autism and ADHD. I was also grieving the loss of my dad. They put me in this strange grieving group which helped but it didn’t make up for how the staff and the teachers targeted me on every little thing. Their lessons were a mess and I had a hard time learning, even when I tried to ask questions I’d be brushed off or told to figure it out myself. I was bullied badly on the buss and my mom had to physically talk to the buss driver then the principal who did nothing about the problem. After graduating 6th she made us move because of how bad the school and education was. I was hoping that when I came back to town 10 years later that the reviews would be better however it seems like it’s only gotten worse.

I enroll my daughter for more that 3 weeks and this school is a the more worried experience she still not start the class why take too long not recommend for not body

You will be hard-pressed to find a better school than Knights View. It is a brand new, state-of-the-art school led by the best principal you could ask for. Despite CMS' budget shortcomings and the fact that CMS elementary education is a black box with very little practical visibility into what is being taught, the teachers and staff make up for it by applying themselves 100% to ensuring every day is simply another day in paradise for those kids. I don't know how they do it. It takes a great leader to inspire and sustain this kind of performance and for that I'm extremely grateful for Principal Rogers. She is hands down the best, both as a person and an administrator. Her staff also deserves a lot of recognition for putting in the time and effort to make this a great school that should have had at least twice the budget to be functioning at this level. Principal Rogers is the one who implemented the Leader In Me program and it really shows in each kid. Best principal, best teachers, best school building. It's a night and day difference with the surrounding elementary schools. If you want your child to benefit from more advanced learning, outside tutoring is highly recommended, as is evidenced by some of the numerous evaluation platforms in CMS which test kids on advanced topics without ever actually teaching them. That's something that unfortunately not even this amazing school can overcome. Fret not, your child will get at least 90% of everything they need to succeed here. You will not get anywhere near that success level at other CMS schools.
