About this House

Tucked off a back road, this salt box center hall colonial is ready to be the backdrop to your memories. The freshly carpeted formal living
room and study with bay window lead to a first floor half bath with laundry and the oversize two car garage with updated overhead doors. The wood burning
stove and brick hearth are the heart of the cozy, wide planked wood floor and exposed beam family room, and the kitchen opens to a breakfast bar,
overlooking the dining room. Upstairs a landing opens to a full guest bath with fresh tile and a skylight, as well as two linen closets. Four bedrooms boast
ample closet space and fresh paint and carpet. Entering the primary suite, you're greeted by the soaring, vaulted ceilings of the saltbox roof, his and hers
closets, and a completely renovated, sparkling full bathroom. For storage, there is a pull down attic and a walk in attic off of the smallest bedroom, over the
garage. In the fully finished basement you'll find a large open space that invites a den, playroom, gym - use your imagination! - and a separate study or office.
In addition to the boiler room, there is an unfinished utility room that serves as excellent pool storage or tool room. Outside, the property is ready to be
molded. Five acres including a driveway-side grass arena stretch to a forest and stream bordering the rear of the property. Hobby farm or horses? A four stall
barn with tack room and hay loft is ready for her big renovation and your equine family. There is a pad for trailer or RV parking, freshly paved drive, and
mature trees. Off of the dining room, sliders open to a wraparound deck overlooking a ready-for-entertaining pool area and in ground pool, with established
landscaping, a new pool fence, and prime sunset views await. Brand new Pella windows and doors, furnace and water tank updated in 2022, four stall barn,
and leased solar panels are just a few of the accoutrements this property offers. Centrally situated, this lovely home makes easy access to the village of
Warwick, the adorable, vibrant hamlet of Sugarloaf, the town of Chester and the village of Goshen.

"Warwick is a lovely town. Not very diverse in terms is minorities. I saw that as an Asian American woman in my 20s. I grew up in Westchester so I'm used that but I also love horses and country esque scenery. And I love that the town is walkable and cute and I feel safe at night when I need to walk my dogs alone. Wealthy older Town for sure but it's not like Greenwich CT or Chappaqua NY or etc. Gem on its own right. "
  • Trulia User
"The downtown village markets have so much to offer! Cafes, antiques, ice cream.. truly a one of kind place! "
  • Kathleen
