About this House

A Rural Country Estate on 66 Acres – Where Warwick’s Countryside Calls
This breathtaking 66-acre country estate offers a rare opportunity to embrace the beauty, tranquility, and timeless charm of the Hudson Valley. This is more than a home—it’s an escape, a retreat, a place to live the country dream.
Set back from the road, the property offers the perfect countryside setting, welcoming you with the tranquil Black Meadow Creek meandering along the front, setting the tone for the peaceful retreat that awaits beyond. Paver walkways welcome you, guiding the way to the stately 1865 farmhouse, where hand-hewn beams, rich hardwood floors, and custom built-ins tell the story of timeless craftsmanship. Inside, the gracious living room, warmed by two of three original fireplaces, invites you to settle in, while the formal dining room is ready to host unforgettable gatherings. The country kitchen, anchored by a classic farm sink and wood-burning stove, is the heart of the home. With four spacious bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths, including a private ensuite in the primary suite, this home blends historic character with modern comfort. The estate offers a charming guest house with an open floor plan, wood-burning stove, bedroom, sitting room/office, and full bath, ideal for extended stays, a creative retreat, or a private hideaway. Tucked into the landscape, a quaint summer cottage serves as the perfect studio, meditation space, or writer’s retreat, where inspiration flows. A versatile barn-style structure serves as both a four-car garage with an expansive lofted space above, ready to accommodate a workshop, artist’s studio, or additional storage. Whether you're envisioning equestrian pursuits, small-scale farming, or a reimagined countryside retreat, this space offers endless potential. The land itself, protected under the Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) program, ensures its agricultural beauty remains preserved. This property calls for a lifetime of hosting celebrations, intimate gatherings, and even weddings. With recent updates enhancing both the main house and guest house, this rural retreat is move-in ready while maintaining its storied past. This is where the dream of country living becomes reality. Where you can cultivate gardens, keep horses, or simply enjoy the serene beauty of Warwick’s countryside. Whether you seek a private retreat, a working farm, or a generational estate, this rare opportunity is waiting to welcome you home.

"Warwick is a lovely town. Not very diverse in terms is minorities. I saw that as an Asian American woman in my 20s. I grew up in Westchester so I'm used that but I also love horses and country esque scenery. And I love that the town is walkable and cute and I feel safe at night when I need to walk my dogs alone. Wealthy older Town for sure but it's not like Greenwich CT or Chappaqua NY or etc. Gem on its own right. "
  • Trulia User
"The downtown village markets have so much to offer! Cafes, antiques, ice cream.. truly a one of kind place! "
  • Kathleen
