"I've lived in West Village for one year and have fallen in love with this neighborhood. The neighborhood has so much character and is very walkable. I love taking my dog to the dog park and meeting other neighbors there. People are very friendly and the neighborhood is diverse. There are many cute little restaurants, bars, and shops in the area which all have a very community-forward vibe. "

"Cool place to live. I wonder if the kitchen is from th 40's still? Must be no pictures. Great neighborhood though."

"The biergarten in the summers are great to enjoy with friends. We have events for dogs and dog owners (also open to anyone) in the same area such as a Halloween costume party! There are also several community gardens that I've seen."

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for almost 5 years. We are actually in West Village, next to Islandview. islandview is beginning to get worked on and house redeveloped, while there are pockets of established redevelopment, West Village is a little further along, but the strong sense of community. Most everyone says hi to neighbors, there is an Association that meets regularly, holiday neighborhood events, block party’s, etc. a good number of children playing, and diverse! I love living here with my wife and expecting kid!"

"Diverse community nestled in lots of trees. The area is beautiful and people are friendly. It's relatively safe. "
