"this is a very small and quiet community. you must drive to another city approximately 13 miles for groceries or anything else after 9pm because everything is closed except for the one gas station here (cheveron)"

"This little town offers all the essentials of life plus it is a quiet burb. Only 30 min from Portland/Vancouver it is an easy commute for many. The Port of Kalama offers boat mooring and public boat launch to the Columbia River. This area offer great fishing within a 5 minute boat ride. The town is known for antiques for those so disposed. Remember Portland is only 30 minutes away and NO SALES Tax and Kalama means no state income taxes."
