"On top of the hills but easy to walk, and walking is safe and friendly. Chinese restaurant is one of best N of Portland. Water source is pristine Kalama River. Columbia River beaches the best."

"Kelso is a fair neighborhood with regard to cost of living. You get what you pay for. There are a lot of good people, and it’s who you know that counts. There is a lot of drugs in area, but actual crime seems moderate. Kelso is nicely located, and there is plenty to do in surrounding areas."

"I have lived here 3 years and we love it. Very quiet and safe. We know our neighbors and talk to each other. Sometimes we give and receive cookies to and from neighbors."

"I live on a corner lot. No sidewalks on a single lane road inside city limits. I have no neighbors. There is lots of foot traffic on single lane road, especially in the evenings. There is railroad tracks that run next to home and train station close by. "
