However, the administration is a complete disaster with very little care given to students. They refer to themselves as babysitters and assume every child is there to give trouble. If there was a new front office/administrators, this rating would go up to at least a 4 and would recommend. "ISD 196 is a wonderful school district to be in. 20 minutes from Downtown Minneapolis, minutes from Eagan and Rosemount. Safe, kid friendly, and pet friendly neighborhoods. Many walking trails, parks, and lakes. Ideal location for privacy and a slower paced life only 20 minutes south of the Twin Cities. Cheapest gas tax in Dakota County."
