"Lots of people walk their dogs in the neighborhood and clean up well. There are cleanup stations throughout the area with trash bags and a can to put it in. "
  • Trulia User
"Great neighbors, quiet neighborhood, and a lot of sidewalks for exercise. Also enjoy the pools and parks in the nicer months."
  • Trulia User

"I love my home in Boulevard park. I love to walk the neighborhood . Lots of nature and water views. Great neighbors and friendly atmosphere."
  • Eric T.
"The HOA does nothing, complain about the little stuff and do nothing about the town homes that are falling apart and make the neighborhood look bad. "
  • E_carreras
"Water access. Family friendly. Broad range of homes from starter to multi million Enjoy the neighborhood "
  • Chris p.
"Lake shore is a good neighborhood, but there are no dog parks in the neighborhood. Also there is a lot of teenage kids roaming the neighborhood blasting inappropriate rap that has a lot of fowl language. I also don’t enjoy them shouting late at night when there are other people trying to sleep or relax, I walk around the neighborhood with my dog and smell drugs that these TEENAGE kids are smoking. Over all some parts of lake shore is good but not all"
  • Erikmweber2002
"Lakeshore is a very nice town that loves Christmas but lacks Sidewalks and needs more dog parks. Some stuff is in walking distance but otherwise you need a car to get around"
  • Exploringerik
"I don’t like how there is no dog park and most of the time dogs run out of property fences and chase people, or other animals. That’s why I don’t go out at night. There are pit bulls and German shepherds "
  • Terry K.
"We have lived here for 24 years. Raised two amazing kids that flourished in the Chesapeake School system. It’s friendly and quiet. "
  • Terry K.
"I’ve lived here for 24 years. My kids grew up here. It’s quiet and safe. The schools are great. My kids flourished here. My only complaint is that too many people want to be here. Traffic is getting bad. But I understand...it’s a great community to live in. "
  • Laurel
"Longpoint Community is a very friendly water focused community. Several community beaches, boat ramp, and optional HOA involvement. When I moved into this community all of my neighbors reached out to assist. This is a rare thing today. Nice community tucked back by the water."
  • Dwfuller
"The "Dena" is a great place to live, and raise a family. This area has good schools, Downs Park is only 2 miles away, deer wander in the backyard, we are close to Annapolis, DC, and Baltimore, so the job market is stable, plus the people in this area don't seem to leave, so there are usual friends and family close by if you grew up here. Crime is very low is this Lake Shore area, so it is a safe. Chesapeake schools have some great teachers and Bodkin Elementary is a Blue Ribbon school winner. New businesses are opening up including Two Rivers Restaurant, Green Turtle, as well as many established businesses like Texas Roadhouse, and others to serve your needs. Local shopping has a nice variety of stores, Giant, Safeway, Ace, and Angels, plus not far from Glen Burnie and Severna Park for additional short distance shopping. Annapolis Mall and Arundel Mill Mall are only about 20 miles away, so you have plenty of choices within a short distance. The area has plenty wooded open space, and is considered a 'Bedroom Community', since there are no major industrial operations within the communities. Many communities have pools, as well. Great place to raise a family!"
