    "I use to live in the Oaks 5 years ago.....I was interested in moving back to the area bc I liked the quietness I remembered years ago HOWEVER in driving through I was Disgusted & Outraged by what this area turned into.....Delapadated fences surrounding back yards which were never allowed when I lived there, NO lawns, Weeds in peoples yards taller than the trees next to them, the main entrance of the Oaks' fence was removed and NEVER replaced it looks like one crack den house after another with a sprinkling of the well manicured nice houses few and far between. I would now be afraid to walk a night around these neighborhoods. The main drag road is a speed way with cars flying through. The areas in the back entrance near the power lines are filled with off wheelers on Sat & Sun mornings speeding there RVS through disrupting the peace and quiet and the homes in the back entrance bring some seedy characters through this neighborhood. I remembered reading about the illegal gaming house was in this neighborhood as well as the biker gang that lived in the house next to that. The homes that are rented out are among the worst and complete eye sores of this neighborhood. This place should now enforce the HOA fees they 'suggest' residents pay and even up it as to keep out some of these people who are bringing down the neighborhood as well as to allow for sanctions to be placed on the homeowners who do not maintain their properties.. Although my memories of living is this area were once refreshing I would stick to memory and find a house in a better neighborhood.. It's truly a shame!"

    "The Oaks is a great neighborhood with pride of ownership. The homes are all unique on their larger than average lots and there are hills! Beautiful for walking, especially at night. A real bonus is proximity to some of the best schools for the youngsters as well as many local activities for the seniors."
