4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended Dickson Elementary for her 5th & 6th grade years. She was new to the public school system and she transitioned very well into it. The teachers and students made her feel very welcome and made her feel like she was family and as if they had known her for many years. I couldn't have asked for better teachers to teach her what she needed to learn in those grades and to pass with flying colors. And the office staff is always very welcoming and friendly when you walk in thru the doors. Doris Dickson truly does have Shining Stars! :)Parent Review10y ago - Don Antonio Lugo High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went to another school district that was a 10 because I had went to that school district in the 1980s. In the 1980s at that other school district it was very racist and I regret sending her their simply because it will attend. While Ramona may not be a 10 she's doing much better here and we are very happy and pleased with how things have been going and I regret moving my daughter out of the Chino School district because that nearby School district traumatized her as they did me. Well it may not be the nicest looking School or the newest it is easy to get in and out of in the morning and in the afternoon. So far we are pleased with the teachers and our daughter's grades have greatly improved since moving back to the Chino School district that she had left the second grade.Parent Review1y ago - Lyle S. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst of all i would like to say its not a bad school but some things need to be fixed. To start the lunch lines are way to long, by the time i get food lunch is almost over. Also in 7-8th there is way to much homework, in 8th my brother spends 3-8 hours on homework. Its the first thing we do when we get home from school and were still doing it at dinner. School time is for learning, WE ARE JUST KIDS WE SPEND MORE TIME DOING HOMEWORK THAN HOW LONG MY FAMILY WORKS!!! Even in 1rst grade my little sisters has weekend homework beacuse she cant finish it all. but my 5th grade sister never has homework the porportions just dont add up.All im saying is school is for learning, at home kids should be able to have a life.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 13223 2nd St.

"This is a good town, friendly people. My family has always been involved in local sports from a very young age and it’s a great way to get connected and make life long friends. My dad coached and reffed for my 3 siblings and I, really joining the chino community. Thing is, the kids need to enjoy what they’re playing. Sports are healthy and a Good way to stay out of trouble. In our time here the only issue we’ve had is our car was broken into a few times over the course of 26 years. One bad neighbor for 9 good ones. Love love love it here!"
