About this House

Welcome to the historic Coronado Cottage! Built in 1925, the house was the first in the Coronado neighborhood to be added to the historic registry. A recent addition resulted in a 2500sq ft light-filled home. Inside, the house is fully furnished, including antique and modern furniture and contemporary art. Enjoy a chef's kitchen with a number of commercial-grade stainless steel appliances, including a new Sub-Zero extra-large fridge and freezer. The house has a BIG finished basement, which is extremely rare in AZ. The basement's 10ft high ceilings, cement walls, and carpeted flooring make it a great place to relax, watch a movie, do yoga, and stay cool. It's large enough for a king-size bed, and some past tenants have used it as a 3rd bedroom.

Outside, relax in the dipping pool with an outdoor shower and LED lights for an evening splash. The house also has a rare electric gated driveway that leads to an enclosed garage where you can park your vehicle, along with free street parking. A big enclosed side yard, and a large manicured grass front yard with mature trees, offer great shade. Sit on the porch and watch the stunning Arizona sunsets while doing some great people watching in one of Phoenix's truly bohemian neighborhoods with many excellent restaurants, and within walking and biking distance. A quick walk takes you to Coronado Park with a large lap pool for the summer. Downtown Phoenix is a 10-minute bike ride, as is the Phoenix Art Museum and Heard Museum. Truly, this is a special home and neighborhood unlike any other in Phoenix!

- Lease 1 - 6 months. If longer is desired, we can talk.

"I lived in this house for 4 years and it was a dream. Loved everything about it. It’s a safe neighborhood with great people. The walls are so thick so it’s very quiet. I worried when I moved in that there would be homeless or people walking down the streets (I can from LA) and it never happened. I would sit on the front porch for hours with my dog and it was just the best. Whoever gets this home (and closet!!) will love it. "
  • James Harold Bowens Jr.
"Clear walk paths and not a lot of loose dogs. Plenty of open areas to allow your dog to get exercise. "
  • Unknown

  • Ciara Ruiz
"Ok could be better. Not the greatest. A lot of homelessness. They sneak in to the apartment complex. "
