My twin sister and I attended Anna ISD, where my mother also worked starting in my first-grade year. What should have been a safe place to learn quickly became an environment where I felt consistently unsafe, unheard, and unsupported.I experienced ongoing bullying and repeated negative treatment that left me crying in the bathroom and, at times, unable to attend school at all because I genuinely feared being there. I was once a highly motivated, high-achieving student—someone with strong potential and a bright future ahead.But over time, the constant mistreatment and lack of support took that away from me. It affected my confidence, my sense of safety, and my ability to succeed.The support systems in place were not enough. Access to the school counselor was extremely limited, and despite how often I needed help, I was unable to receive consistent care or meaningful intervention. Instead of being protected, I felt overlooked.There were also multiple serious incidents involving both staff and students that reflected a deeper issue within the environment—poor handling of conflict, lack of accountability, and a failure to prioritize student well-being. These were not isolated situations; they contributed to a pattern that made the school feel unstable and unsafe.No student should ever feel the way I did—afraid to go to school, struggling alone, and losing who they once were because the system meant to support them failed.Based on my experience, I strongly urge families to think carefully before trusting this environment. Protect your children. Speak up. Pay attention.If you are looking for a safe, supportive place for your child this is not it. Stay away!!!

They don't communicate well. They don't send papers home so we can help our children at home. They prefer to report to C.P.S. instead of communicating with the parents of the situation and cause problems.
