N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey lock the doors on your children if you drop them off one minute late. They literally locked the doors as my 5 yr old daughter was walking up to them and the officer walked right by her and never even looked back at her to see if she got in. I parked my car and watched for a minute to see if they would let her in but instead the staff inside that saw her decided to ignore her. It was around 39 degrees outside. Why would the school lock elementary students outside of the vestibule? Why even have an officer at the school when she obviously doesn’t care about the children? All they are worried about is the tardy log book. I do know we are supposed to have our children there by 7:45 but for Gods sake it was 7:46 and they were still standing at the doors. If you really was compassionate about the kids then you would never leave them outside in the cold as punishment because the parent has them late. "I have lived in this community for 14 years , I love it here. The parks are amazing, clean , pet friendly, beautiful. The neighborhood is quite, not alot of traffic in area, Restaurants are locally owned, stores are with in walking distance, historic hotel on main, court house is historic, the most part is the historic town, alot of history here , second oldest town in Tennessee. "

"As a dog owner I feel that Rogersville is fairly accepting. Dogs are welcome at the city park and of course at the tractor supply. "

"This town is mainly a retirement town along with a town for junkies. Some areas are very nice, but a lot of areas arent worth the stay. Kids barely have anything to do growing up"

"Leash laws are strict. Plenty of places that dogs are welcome. There is no dog park but dogs are welcome in the city park. "

"Quiet, peaceful area. I know my neighbors by their first name! I don’t hear street noise. Just great water views and plenty of wildlife! Great place to raise children. Awesome schools!"
