Teachers really encourage students to be their very best, to take AP classes, put all of their effort into assignments and generally challenge themselves. I’ve also had the privilege of playing multiple sports, and while the coaching seemed very miscellaneous and at times frustrating, the other athletes made it an amazing experience. Honestly the education is good but not in anyway exceptional. I have never felt safe or protected there. The upper staff never handles serious things confidentially. If you love your kids do not send them to that school they wont come back the same. "just great place to live in and U would invite anyone in my family to live here with me. This was a very peaceful place that I really enjoyed and built memorys. I always thought of it as a place to raise a family and you get the best of both worlds. you can enjoy the city life and country life...easy living is what I call it. "I live in this neighborhood of coatesville. A lot of nosey people but for the most part I minds my business and stay to myself. It’s not that bad for me. My neighbors are not bad we get along for the most part. We can borrow food from each other when needed. Parking may be a little scarce. Get togethers could be a little difficult due to parking. Not enough parks for the visitors. You get some bad neighbors after a while but nothing to bad if so you just live with it or move to another location but I feel Coatesville is becoming better day by day. Family and friends are coming together to make it a better community. They have big plans for Coatesville and I’m excited to see what’s in store for our future children. The kids today have a absolutely nothing to do other then school. Schools have after school programs for parents who work a little later to help the kids with homework and school work. I feel safe in my neighborhood because I know almost everybody or know a family member. Mostly everybody in Coatesville know each other or a family member. Unless the person may not be from around the area."

"Their is not alot to do in Coatesville that's why I'm trying to move outside of Coatesville and the transportation system is horrible the buses are always late, no real activities for teenagers around here."

"My neighborhood has limited access to public transportation. You need a car to get around especially if you work in the city. It takes me 10 to 15 minutes to drive to Thorndale so that I can take the train to Center City which takes 1 hr 20 minutes to get there. "
