"51 can be rough, somedays I can get downtown in 10 mins other days 40 !!! I work in Carnegie so I have to plan accordingly "
  • Elizabeth P.
"We live close to to schools and park, community center and library. Very nice friendly neighbors and sense of community. "
  • K.L.
"To watch your children be observant always! Take pride in neighborhood clean up behind yourself and your children. Do not trash your neighborhood. Beware of peeping Tom's in the neighborhood, because a neighbor peeped in our window, what a creep! Stay safe!"
  • Patrick F.
"Nothing is special about Brentwood, with the exception of its inherent 1960s racism and general regressive political mood of most long-time residents. "
  • Laurie L.
"The Brentwood 4th of July celebration is enjoyed by the entire community. There's a 5k firecracker race down Brownsville Road, a parade, and picnics and parties as far as the eye can see... until the fireworks. Brentwood is a walking school district with small community schools and a small town feel. "
  • Abarber.design
"I've lived in this neighborhood for over 5 years. There are a lot of retired folks, so it's quiet, however a lot of people are bigoted and highly opinionated. it's very hard to walk around, none of the sidewalks connect to each other and it's very hilly."
  • Sharoninpitt503
"I’m visiting, it’s wonderful and the people are great and there are a lot of kids, and places to go and everyone cares for there home"
  • Carolalrami
"I love the 4th of July parade and the summer pool events and the Brentwood Library and all they have going on all year. I like how parents take their children trick or treating and the fire truck looks out for the safety of their children in their community"
  • demarsico69
"The neighbors are friendly and tend to know one another. The cops patrol often. There's a good mixture of culture in the area as well. "
  • Shana R.
