  • Bkmagtibay26
"Neighborhood is safe to walk either their dog, but again they have to be aware on the dog waste to be pick up by them."
  • Eredia Virginia
"There's buses in lots of different transportation to get around but you can also walk to certain places like food areas stores are nearby a liquor store right around the corner for something simple grocery store down the street so if you don't have a car you can pretty much either take the bus or or walk"
  • Eredia Virginia
"I have my own car and I drive to where I need to go to but at one point I used to use the bus and I never had a problem to from my destination"

"There is nothing much to say. Except it is a good and safe neighborhood to walk a dog. Even at night. "
  • Xxspyd3r342
"A lot of people do not pick up their dog poop when they are walking their dogs around the area. The parking situation also sucks so make sure you have your own designated parking area in your apartment "
  • Trulia User
"People don't respect residential speed limits; I would be careful and attentive when taking children out for bike riding or during regular outside time."
  • April Ortega
"Streets are often congested. The stoplights are so close together streets will get blocked due to cars trying to make the light"
  • Irene R.

  • Eydie C.
"Friendly safe clean... different ethnicities ... close to freeways.. good places to eat.. target TJ maxi"
  • Leslie Z.
"Plenty of parks to walk you pup. Green belt parks need dog waste stations. People always are walking their dogs with family’s or working out with them."
  • Unspecified
"Halloween kids trick or treat and there’s a huge event on the city hall lawn, a parade through the city. 4th of July has the best fireworks show on the lawn as well "

"It is a busy city, homeless in many areas and too many dollar stores. There are no great businesses here. We usually go shop in surrounding cities."

  • Chancedene
"Definitly a wack place to live. Very boring lots of tagging and no green spaces. Do not recommend. Even the parks are wack"

"I have lived here for 57 years and have enjoyed every day here.It is a safe place for children with good schools within walking distance. "
  • Yruiz4god
"I live in Norwalk,Ca since 1988. I brought two houses in Norwalk and raise my kids here as well. Now, my grandkids. Planning to retire here as well. Grocery, pharmacy, Restuarant and freeways are all close and walking distance. "
  • Angela
"Nothing. With all the chain restaurants we are just like every other city. There is not much in the way of history anymore. The current city council wants big business, not small family owned and run business "
  • Art R.
"I lived in this area for almost a year and it’s quiet and a friendly area. Traffic is limited and the area has everything around it. "
  • Zavala.me23
"I like this neighborhood because its really quiet, my neighbors are friendly and i feel safe. I have lived here for twelve years and Im not moving out of here anytime soon"
  • Yruiz4god
"We have different types of events in the parks where parents can take their kids or they can walk to use the basketball courts, swim and bbq. The city has a a lot of free events for the people could attend such as city hall events, Carnival and bands etc. you have store and Resturant at walking or close distance. At one time had cows but still you can see horses since many homes have horse homes. People are friendly and welcoming in the area. I have lived in Norwalk since the 80’s and still feel safe. There are shopping center, theaters, nail and hair shops etc. at one time we closed the street for the 4th of July and enjoyed each other potluck in the front of the house. After majority of people died or felt the younger family do other things. "
  • Francisco B.
"Norwalk is great. Lots of nice areas and generally safe. Parks are nice out here and many people are friendly and to themselves. It’s a very balanced neighborhood and very diverse."
  • Moreno562
"there has been a lot of break ins into vehicles around cerritos college. I've heard a couple gun shots and several stores like a donut shop was robbed."
  • Martha R.

  • Edith H.

  • Res218do
"the area is nice and clean quite. There are two parks one a great pet and family park the other recently redone for children. All the ages of schools are near bye. Easy accessory to freeways and stores."
  • Edmoney
