9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOn a scale of 1-10, probably a 4 or 5. The academics and things we get to learn are amazing, and the teachers do an incredible job of teaching, but the lack of effective counselors and adults guiding kids to the right path is too much. They don't know how to handle hard situations with bullying and usually choose sides instead of hearing out both kids.Student Review5y ago - Discovery Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur fifth grader and kindergartener attends this school - and it's been incredible. We relocated from another country and were not sure what to expect with our kids adjusting to a new culture and school. After a year attending Discovery, all our worries were put to rest. The teachers and principle are AMAZING. They are extremely hands-on and caring for our children through every stage of their education - from the time the kids are dropped off to the time they hand the kids back to us. The guidance counselor has been super helpful on monitoring our kids' adjustment, intervening when necessary to work with the kids and us parents on how to keep things running smoothly, and immediately responds whenever we reach out. Our kids are advancing well academically and the classrooms are equipped with many technological resources to supplement the learning experience (e.g. digital interactive boards and laptops for EACH kid). We couldn't have wished for a better school to send out kids to.Parent Review1y ago - Skyline High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended this school and experienced a lot of bullying and lack of support with addressing issues to stop or prevent future bullying. The teachers were great, but administration would ignore the situations and do their best to hide there were issues with bullying. Even after the girl report the bullying events to more than one teachers for many times, no one do anything about it, even the bullying is more severe than before, no one help the girl, the girl has to suffer it in school. The emotional support phone can never be connected on the website of the school.Parent Review5mo ago - Check out schools near 1212 243rd Pl SE.
